10 cowboys light up stage with entertaining line dance

When you think of Brazil, the mind goes to a picturesque country influenced by the Portuguese Empire. Colonial architecture, Roman Catholicism, and a mixture of African, indigenous and European cultures and traditions are also commonplace. The country has been a subject of, or a favorite location of many films and TV shows. It is a stunning piece of land.

This is the Comanches Country Festival in Brazil.
This group of ten in their red and black jackets, jeans, and cowboy hats are as country as country can get. Alan Jackson’s “Summertime Blues” is the song of choice for these cool dudes (and two ladies). The tune is so country you would actually want to pack up, get on a horse, and just ride off!
10 cowboys light up stage with entertaining line dance

This is line dancing as described. People dancing in lines or rows, using a repeated series of steps done in unison without making contact with each other. They all face the same direction, execute the steps, then go on the another direction until they’re back to where they started.

Now they don’t all have the same level of energy, as some are really into it, jumping and spinning, whereas the others just follow along. They may have been shy or aren’t as gifted in terms of dancing but it’s all about fun!

There’s even a bit of western ballroom in there between one of the female dancers and one of the more good looking male dancers. Not to say the others aren’t good looking, maybe it was her preference to dance with him? Hmm…

Great sequence though. Like a movie scene where they dance in a saloon.

The country spirit is very much alive. They’ve even got admirers in the comments section.

“Completely impressed by this middle cowboy, everyone danced well, but he stood out. I was just in the mood to dance with this group, I love country. Congratulations to all of you.”

The beauty of country music and dance is they are so carefree and easy to follow. Simple, just like the country life. No need to worry if you’re new to dancing or shy, just get on the dance floor and go crazy! A few beers would help too!

Line dance focuses more on the legs and feet, utilizing counts along to the beat. Pretty easy to follow so long as you’re counting. The more advanced dances use the arms and hands but don’t worry if the others are doing it. Just follow the count!

These Texas Cowboys are very light on their feet though. Imagine dancing in boots and jeans then you’ll understand. Those smiles may be for show but you have to believe that they are genuinely having fun. And it does look like it!

“Fantastic wonderful dance. I love it. Great work guys.”

Even their fans agree. It’s so much fun to watch. The whole point of a show is to bring smiles to the audience and everyone in attendance and it is safe to say that these line dancers did a fantastic job!
